Privacy Policy
What information does the app collect? +

My Best Bible does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. No account registration is required and no personal data is requested at any point.

The only data stored on your device is:

  • Your saved question library (stored locally in your app's Documents folder)
  • Your daily AI question count and reset date (stored in local app preferences)

This data never leaves your device except as described in the AI section below.

How are AI questions handled? +

When you ask a question using the AI feature, the text of your question is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to OpenAI's API in order to generate a relevant Bible verse response.

We do not store your questions on any server of our own. However, OpenAI may process and retain the content of requests in accordance with their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

We recommend avoiding sharing sensitive personal information in your questions.

Do you use analytics or tracking? +

No. My Best Bible does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not track your behavior within the app, and we do not share any data with advertisers or data brokers.

Is any data shared with third parties? +

The only third party the app communicates with is OpenAI, and only when you actively use the AI question feature. No other data is shared with any third party for any purpose, including marketing, analytics, or advertising.

How is my data stored and secured? +

All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard file and preferences systems. It is protected by your device's own security features, including any passcode or biometric lock you have enabled.

Network requests to the OpenAI API are made over HTTPS (TLS encryption), using Apple's built-in secure networking stack.

Do you collect data from children? +

My Best Bible does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require registration or any form of data submission. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, please contact us.

Can I delete my data? +

Yes. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. This will permanently remove your saved question library and all app preferences from your device.

Will this policy change? +

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

We will never introduce practices that compromise your privacy without clearly communicating the change here.
